Pest Prevention Tips:

  1. Throw out cardboard boxes and store your items in plastic storage containers with a tight fitting lid.
  2. Put safety plugs in all unused electrical outlets.
  3. Clean all crumbs and food stuck on toasters and microwave ovens. Clean your stove/oven of all grease and food.
  4. Use trash containers with a tight fighting lid (with no opening in it) and line trash container with a plastic trash bag.
  5. Use plastic suit/dress bags to store clothing you hang in the closet that you don’t wear everyday.
  6. Don’t bring furniture, mattresses or anything else you find outside on the street or in a trash container into your apartment. These items may hold eggs or the tiny babies of bugs that are the size of a pinhea.
